BACKGROUND

Alicia is a native of South a Florida and a life long resident and attended Miami Dade Community College and Broward Community College.  She has seen the state grow and change and knows it like only a long-time resident can. Her commitment to her community and to helping others has been demonstrated through her support and volunteer work with the American Cancer Society, Miami Rescue Mission, Museum of Art, Humane Society and Shih Tzu Rescue.  She has previously been awarded the "Volunteer of the Year" award by the American Cancer Society.  Alicia has also obtained her private pilot's license, mortgage broker's license and insurance license.
